I love growing and drying my own flowers for the Mini Vase with Dried Flowers!

Most of them I grow from seed, and I’m never quite sure what I’m gonna get. So it is always fun to see what pops up. I dry my flowers in a traditional way: hanging them upside down in a warm and dry place out of the sun. Heat and good circulation (air flow) help flowers dry faster, and the faster they dry, the more brilliant the colors end up. The sun will fade the colors of dried flowers. Dried flowers will last forever if kept out of direct sunlight. I DO NOT recommend displaying them in a sunny window. Remember, though, not all flowers dry well. Read this article to learn about flowers that do dry well.

The mini vases are handmade out of polymer clay. I find the available colors of polymer clay to be very inspiring to work with!
